The CSC is pleased to announce the appointment of Penny Watier as our new Central Vice President.
Penny recently retired from a 30+ year career in the Industry. She Graduated from McGill in Special Education and taught in the Saguenay, Labrador, James Bay and Madagascar. Penny arrived in Toronto as a single Mother and answered a newspaper ad for a position at ARRI/Nagra.
She credits former CSC Board Chair and Treasurer Joe Sunday for believing in her and being responsible for the start of her career in lighting and camera. Penny continued to work in the industry at Strand Lighting, then back to ARRI Canada, William F. White, PS Production Services, AC Lighting and Moss LED. Penny says the highlight of her career was taking the PS camera department from film to digital and becoming a very successful camera Department.
Penny says: “Now it is my turn to give back to those who supported me in many ways during my career. Thank you to the CSC for this opportunity!”
