About Matt Bendo CSC AIC

Matt Bendo is an esteemed Cinematographer based in Toronto, acclaimed for his exceptional skill and artistic flair. A seven-time nominee for the Canadian Society of Cinematographers Award, he has secured wins for his remarkable work in “Lamborghini – Storm” (2017), “Kombat Arts – Legacy” (2018), and “A Dog Cried Wolf” (2020).
Renowned for his innovative approach to lighting, Bendo’s unique visual style has distinguished him among his peers, garnering attention from industry-leading platforms such as CineD. His expertise spans a broad range of cinematic genres, including narrative films, music videos, and commercials, with many projects achieving viral success and millions of views.
His international ventures have taken him to Venezuela, Mexico, and Guatemala, where his talent for capturing compelling narratives shines. In Venezuela, he worked on a major commercial for Santa Teresa 1796, and in Guatemala, he shot two films, including “In The Fire,” starring Eduardo Noriega and Amber Heard. His work in Venezuela includes a significant commercial project for Santa Teresa 1796.

Bendo’s influence extends beyond the camera as a sought-after speaker, having shared his insights on the “Art of Cinematic Perception” at the University of Panamerica for MovArt, further highlighting his influence and contribution to the field of cinematography. He is both a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC) and Autori Italiani Cinematografia (AIC)


About Kristofer Bonnell CSC

Kristofer Bonnell is an acclaimed cinematographer renowned for his innovative and visually captivating work. He got his start by his involvement in action sports and capturing the exciting world of extreme sports. This later led him to graduating from Sheridan College Institute of Technology in the Media Arts program. He has received numerous accolades, including CSC Awards and a nomination in the Camerimage Music Video category for his work on Drake’s “What’s Next.”

Bonnell’s filmography features a diverse range of projects. His feature films include “Nine Films About Technology,” “Girl,” “Hell of a Summer,” and “Ballistic.” These films showcase his ability to adapt to various genres and storytelling styles, consistently delivering visually striking and emotionally resonant cinematography.

In addition to his work in narrative, Bonnell is especially known for his work in shooting automotive commercials. His ability to capture the sleek, dynamic nature of automobiles has made him a sought-after cinematographer in this niche. His commercials are characterized by their high-energy visuals, meticulous attention to detail, and innovative use of camera techniques.
